Baking delivery business, anything to guard me legally?

I'm trying to start a small delivery service of baked goods to a select group of people (muffins, cakes, cookies, etc.) My questions was whether I need a license/security to protect myself should something happen, i.e. allergic reaction from a cusomer. Im trying to keep this as small as possible and just try to start it up for fun, but I dont want a lawsuit to take my house or anything either.
